But one fateful day in summer of 1996 would rock her world forever when a mysterious white woman from middle class America entered her life.
No one could have ever imagined the tough road that would lie ahead as the impact of this impending union affected the worlds around them.
Now 25 years later they sit down to share their stories on becoming a not so blended, blended family.
